I bought this for my third child and I so wish that they had been invented when my other two were little - it's so much simpler than the old-style bed guards.
Pros (over the old-style bed guards): it's so easy to fit (pop it under the mattress, it took me about 1 minute!), it's easy to make the bed over it, it's really lightweight and flexible so you can bung it into the suitcase for holidays (I bought two and used one each side of the hotel bed and there was no way he was falling out!), it's cheap so you can get one for nan's house, and it fits all different sizes of beds - I used it first on the cot bed, and now in a single bed, and it works really well (my little one rolls around like mad when he's asleep and he's never fallen out!).
Cons: can't think of any.
